Gopastami
Gopastami — the day Krishna first went out to herd the cows. Until then he had tended the calves; moving up to the grown herd was an event in Vrindavana, and Yasoda spent the whole morning dressing him for it.
The temple keeps the day with special worship and honour to the cows. A homely, warm festival.
