Breakfast
Breakfast prasadam is served right after the morning arati. Anyone may come, but let us know beforehand — the food is cooked for a set number of people, so a call or a message the evening before or in the morning is enough.
You fetch your own dishes: metal plates and cups are kept under the serving table. You come to the serving table with your plate in hand. The food is served by a designated person from the temple — you do not help yourself from the pots: whoever serves prasadam observes particular rules of cleanliness, having washed their hands and mouth. Afterwards you wash up yourself — there is a separate place with sinks for that; there is no need to enter the kitchen, which has a hierarchy of its own.
Prasadam is offered for a voluntary donation. At the same time you can say that you will come for lunch as well — nearly everyone who has had breakfast here does. Getting up at five for the food is not the loftiest of motives, but the tradition has seen worse beginnings.
